ICI has been an IBM Business Partner since 2002, focused on the implementation of J. D. Edwards/PeopleSoft solutions. As a member of IBM’s PartnerWorld for Software program, ICI is able to address customers’ unique implementation requirements that call for additional hardware and/or software. ICI works closely with IBM sales and remarketing teams to offer customers the added value of a total, integrated solution that addresses the full range of their business needs.

In a recent implementation, for example, ICI performed a technical assessment to determine the hardware requirements for a production system to support the customer’s J. D. Edwards OneWorld Xe software. ICI recommended an upgrade to a new eight-way processor, and partnered with IBM to benchmark performance of the recommended hardware in a similar application for another client. ICI’s customer decided to invest in the hardware upgrade and has since been able to maximize performance of both its interactive applications and its batch processing.
